Argentine Man Finds Mother's Voice in 34-Year-Old Letter

Buenos Aires, November 21 (NA) -- Following the widespread impact of Juan Manuel Atondo's story—the young man who found a video and heard his mother's voice for the first time in 34 years—the details of the handwritten letter accompanying the tape have come to light. The text, filled with love and premonitions, was written before his birth. According to Noticias Argentinas agency, the letter was penned by Graciela Parón while she was pregnant and unaware of her baby's gender. She then addresses the unborn child with a loving nickname: "Today I call you Biquito, but when you are born, I will call you by your name." The mother explains that if the baby were a girl, she would be named Carolina, in honor of the grandmother. "I chose these names because they belong to people who fought in life," she wrote. In the text, she explains the reason for her choice of names and leaves a legacy of strength for her son. On the paper, written in blue ink and cursive script, the heading reads: "To my beloved Son." "Brave." The manuscript, found with the VHS in a forgotten box in Adrogué, completes the emotional puzzle for Atondo, who lost his mother at the age of two and has now, before emigrating to Germany, managed to reconnect with his story through these words.
